Dongwuqi District，Inner Mongolia is famous for producing different kinds of quartzes，and the discovery of amethyst here brought out a new amethyst mine in China. This amethyst specimen was mined in a few years ago. Due to the earlier inappropriate mining method which people blasted mining with explosives，a number of very rare specimens have been destroyed destructively.
Luckily，this amethyst specimen has complete crystal which is the most intact one among them，and this is very rare. The crystal grew in a radial manner，and the beautiful purple distributed from the top to the bottom，which makes it an extremely high collectible mineral specimen with high ornamental value.
